one good thing about having your family spread all over is that you get to see beloved places more often! In late summer, nephew number four was born :-). The whole family went for a fun bikeride.

Visiting this beautiful city for the first time (actually beeing mainly invited for a 60th birtday!), i was impressed by the different architectural styles – from romanic, gothic, renaissance, to baroque and art nouveau.

Sarotti-Höfe | Mehringdamm. Die insgesamt sieben Höfe mit denkmalgeschützen Gebäuden sind nach der traditionsreichen Schokoladenmarke benannt, die hier einst produzierte.
